XCS Maestro File (Plates)
The XCS format generates CNC machining instructions in Maestro format for plate cutting machines.

Multi-Step Milling
Define milling passes at different depths in the Milling steps by height table:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Bottom height (mm) | Start height of the milling step. |
| Top height (mm) | End height of the milling step. |
| No of steps | How many passes for this depth range. |
Material-to-Tool Mapping
Configure which tool is used for each material, in the Material Settings section. Each table has a Material and a Tool column. Separate mappings for:
- Materials to Tools Mapping for Holes — Tool assignment for drilling operations per material.
- Materials to Tools Mapping for Contour — Tool assignment for contour cutting per material.
